Just When You Thought It Safe To Go Back In The Water...

spartvul

Here we are again!

There's not much to say. The hacker attempted to hack us again but the poor old dear got blocked - I could have done it earlier but then that wouldn't have been much fun.

SETTING UP AN EMPLOYEE

Finally you have the real story behind the set-up and sacking of Chris Lloyd - OPEN UP.

KILLING WOMBATS

WHISTLE BLOWING covers some very disturbing material about wombats and the way they are treated in WIRES.

INVESTIGATE WIRES

The CSIRO is being independently investigated for bullying within the organisation - SMH - hopefully something like that will be happening to WIRES real soon...

WHAT DOES YOUR REP ACTUALLY DO?

Do get on to your lazy WSC rep and get them to do something about the new WIRES Social Media Policy. Under this policy you are not allowed to talk about WIRES at all, but more troublingly, you are not allowed to express any opinion about animals. Note the first page of the policy:

It is important to note that this policy does not apply to employees' personal use of social media platforms where the employee makes no reference to WIRES Inc related or animal related issues.

So if you have an opinion about government policy or care techniques or anything at all to do with animals, even if it has nothing to do with WIRES, and a member of the Board or Leanne Taylor might not like it, then you stand to lose your licence. Its in black and white. Dogs are animals: Can you not talk about your own pets now? What exactly does your WSC Rep do and exactly who's side are they on? Here's a copy of the policy - Social Media Policy.

Did she get your approval before making public statements on your behalf? Why not go along and enjoy her performance?

BON VOYAGE

I am going now: I am retiring from service. A new person may come along and replace me but for now, I am done. The comments are no longer moderated - its the last you'll be hearing from me. Its been fun overseeing all this and thanks for all your support.

I'd like to check it out - does WIRES sell the wombat one to non-members?

Usually manuals are only sold at training courses. They're supposed to be printed in small batches on order for planned trainings.

Jim wirEs The E is for Education You can't even get a copy of the constitution or a annual report in advance of paying to do a course and i have never seen either or on a course only after i complained and was ignored.
Try a democratic group. Save yourself the heart ache. S is for Service and you will be Serviced if you keep up that tone. Asking questions is just not acceptable.

You will be isolated from the mob.

You will need to change your name to Oliver if you keep up this outrageous attack on the the management.

Just hours after reformwires commented on the social media policy a new version ws created and sent out. It now says
"It is important to note that this policy does not apply to employees’ or volunteers personal use
of social media platforms where the person makes no reference to WIRES Inc or it’s activities."

Go for it Spartacus - they listen to you.
